ABOUT YOUR CERTIFICATION AND MOCEAN YOGA EXPERIENCE
We believe that a 200hr yoga teacher training is the beginning of the journey to becoming a great leader and “torch bearer”. This is your opportunity to develop a more intimate relationship with yourself through the teachings of yoga. Our intention is to give you the tools you need to feel confident in your ability to understand and share the practice of yoga. Our hope is that with this new found gift you will move forth as a warrior of love, illuminating the path to peace for yourself and others with integrity!
Mocean Yoga is a Yoga Alliance recognized school. Our goal is to give you the education and certification you need to feel confident in your ability to practice and teach yoga safely! After completion of our course, you will be a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher.
We focus on the practice of Vinyasa Yoga, but will also cover Hatha, Yin, and Restorative so you have a broad understanding and full spectrum offering. Our intimate intensive course will provide you with the support you need to progressively learn and feel confident with your relationship with yoga. Our Certified Culinary Nutritionist will provide you with high prana meals throughout the course so you are set up to be nourished and cared for ♡
Who should take this training?
This course is for those interested in deepening their understanding of the practice of yoga. There are no pre-requisites, however a consistent yoga practice of at least six months is recommended. Some of the topics we will study are:
– The History, Philosophy & Psychology of Yoga
– Safe & Effective Alignment
– Intelligent Sequencing
– Developing a Personal Practice
– Energetic & Functional Anatomy
– Practice Teaching
– The Yoga of Eating
What to Expect
This training will include hands on experience, practice, self study, and 180 contact hours with the lead teachers. The remaining 20hrs to make up 200hrs total will be completed through assigned readings prior to the training, from a required reading list that will be sent out upon receiving your deposit for the training. There are only 14 spaces in this training, so you can expect to have support and attention from your lead teachers who are committed to your growth and evolution.
